Minister Malatsi meets Microsoft leaders

A significant milestone in the collaboration between the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT) and Microsoft was reached when Minister for Communications and Digital Technologies, Solly Malatsi and Director-General Nonqubela Dyanti-Jordan led a successful engagement with Microsoft’s senior leadership at their headquarters.

This meeting underscored the critical role that public-private partnerships play in driving South Africa’s digital future. By harnessing the innovation, expertise, and resources of the private sector, we can accelerate the rollout of digital infrastructure, bridge the digital divide, and create new opportunities for all South Africans.

The partnership between the DCDT and Microsoft is a key example of how we can leverage technology to foster economic growth, enhance public services, and create jobs in the ICT sector. Together, we are building a future where digital transformation serves as the foundation for an inclusive and sustainable economy.
